Manual for maintenance and repair of trolleys and cases

Thank you for choosing our trolley and/or suitcase!

Our cases and trolleys are designed for convenience, durability and style, so you can travel carefree. With proper care, you can extend the life of your trolley or suitcase and ensure it looks great for years to come. Follow the tips below for optimal use and maintenance.

1. Use tips

  • Fill the case with care

When packing, keep in mind the maximum capacity and weight your suitcase can carry. Overfilling can damage zippers or seams and reduce comfort of use.

  • Hand luggage check

If you are using your suitcase as carry-on luggage, check in advance the dimensions allowed by the airline. Also make sure that sharp or prohibited items are removed from the suitcase before going through security.

  • Wheels and handles

Use the trolley function on level surfaces to avoid excessive wear on the wheels. Do not pull too hard on the telescopic handle to avoid damaging the mechanism.

2. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Manual cleaning

It is best to clean trolley and case with a damp cloth. Use warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners as they may damage the surface.

  • Maintenance of the wheels

Periodically check for dirt, hair or dust in the wheels that may impede smooth movement. Use a soft brush to remove dirt and a drop of silicone spray to keep the wheels running smoothly.

  • Struggling or stuck zipper

  1. First check for dirt, dust, sand or other debris stuck in the zipper. This can impede movement.

  2. Use a soft brush, toothbrush or cloth to gently remove the dirt. Be sure to clean both sides of the zipper.

  3. If the zipper is stuck or stiff, use a pencil (graphite) or lightly rub a candle over the teeth of the zipper. Open and close the zipper a few times to spread the lubricant.

3. Protection and Care

  • Protect the case during use

Use a protective cover to protect the outside of your suitcase from scratches and dirt while traveling. This is especially useful during rough baggage handling at airports.

  • Store in a dry place

Store a trolley and suitcase in a dry, clean and cool place. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can fade the material and print. Place case and trolley upright and avoid heavy load on top of case and trolley.

4.     What to do in case of damage

  • Small damages

Scratches or small dents on hard cases are often purely cosmetic and do not affect the functionality. If necessary, use a soft cloth to polish superficial scratches.

  • Major Repairs

For larger repairs, we recommend contacting a professional repair service. For example, they can:

  1. Fully repair seams.

  2. Replace zippers.

5.     Sustainable Use and Recycling

  • Use repeatedly

Our cases are designed for long-term use. By using your case carefully, you reduce the need to buy a new one and contribute to a more sustainable world.

  • Recycle

At the end of the suitcase's useful life, you can contact local recycling services to have the material properly disposed of.

Thank you for caring for your trolley and suitcase!

By taking good care of your trolley and case, you can extend its lifespan and contribute to a more sustainable world. We hope you enjoy your trolley and suitcase!
